The famous Woodpecker Cider Fest is once again with us on Bank Holiday Sunday May 28th from 12 noon till late.
More than 20 ciders and perrys from local producers to tempt your palate. Food and music by local band 'The Replicas.'
Sods in Summer opens the Spetisbury Festival with two evenings of short sketches by the comedy writers Michael Frayn (Noises Off) and Tom Stoppard. Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd June at 7.30pm.

The popular Country Day returns on Sunday June 4th 11 am - 5pm to Crawford Bridge, Spetisbury (the Poole end of the village) at DT11 9EA. £5 entry, free to children under 16.
Have a go at Archery, Clay Pigeon shooting, Wellie Throwing, Fly Fishing, Air Rifle shooting. Watch displays of Liberty Hawks, Gun Dog Scurries, Dorset Wildfowlers and the Tivalake Tollers. Stroke the alpacas and ride a donkey. Stalls, food, music, Pimms, bar.

It's back! The Big Festival Quiz hosted by Daren Cornelius will come to Spetisbury village hall on Thursday 8th June at 7.30 pm. Multiple choice and multi-media, booking is essential as space is limited. There will be a bar.
Maximum 6 to a team, cost is £12 per team. There are only 12 tables and several are already taken, so don't delay.

Local experts Tony and Ann Taylor invite you to join them for a walk around the Spetisbury countryside to discover some of the fascinating secrets of the natural world.
This will be a local walk of about 2 hours, during which walkers would hope to hear and see a variety of birds, flowers, butterflies and other insects, but obviously this depends a bit on the weather!
Covering about 2 miles, the group will be moving slowly but will cover some rough terrain, so please wear sensible footwear. Also, bring binoculars if you have them. Children welcome, but please no dogs.
